Amber is the father of Jaipur that was once the stronghold of Rajput Valour in Northern Rajputana. It is said that a city is not assessed by its length and breadth, but by the broadness of its concept and the prominence of its dreams. Amer was a flourishing settlement, formerly occupied by the caste of Meena. The caste claims their descent from the Matsya Avtar or the fish incarnation of Vishnu until it was captured by the kachwaha clan of Rajputs. The great and famous Amber city is unusually visited by tourists. This atmospheric ancient town is dotted with numerous historic temples, Havelis, and water harvesting structures. Our carefully outlined tour is a perfect remedy to make a visit to the busy Amber city and explore the town’s rich culture as this walk will take you to the past while palace structure which was a makeshift arrangement when the Amer fort was being built.
